Water Features

Example 1  (click to enlarge)

A circular feature incorporating a bubble fountain, a very shallow 'ripple shelf' (great for small children)
and a deeper planting area, currently filled with large beach cobbles and potted plants. Less visible is the
underground connecting pipe to a remote reservoir with an overflow and automatic top-up mechanism!

 Example 2  (click to enlarge)

A 'wetlands' style water feature with a very small bubble fountain
in the foreground. The pond liner is arranged to allow the visible
water level to vary with the amount of rainfall. A timber walkway
links the patio (not visible here, but click here for a more detailed
look at this project)
to the raised lawn.

Example 3  (click to enlarge)

A small pond and the ubiquitous bubble fountain set in front of a raised deck.

Example 4

-------------------------------------------  (After, though prior to planting)  ------------------------------------------------        ----------------------  (Before)  ----------------------------

A relatively simple, low-cost re-working of someone else's handiwork.

Example 5  (click to enlarge)

A natural looking , nature friendly pond in a large, traditional, suburban garden.

Example 6  (click to enlarge)

A simple bubble fountain fashioned out of an old millstone, with a concealed,
automatic top-up mechanism below.

Example 7  (click to enlarge)

A substantial, nature friendly pond set predominantly beneath
a deck with adjoining walkways.

Example 8  (click to enlarge)

A rhyll (with a small bubble fountain, of course), weaving its way
through the patio, around the herb bed, past the lawn and finally
over a waterfall into a pond. Click here to see this project in more
detail.

Example 9  (click to enlarge)

An ornamental frog spouts water into a child-friendly water garden, which,
in turn, overflows into a tile-lined rill. This garden also features in the walls
and pergola sections of this site.
